The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting on 19 August 2025, has cleared key appointments for the Gauhati High Court.
Justice Budi Habung and Justice N. Unni Krishnan Nair, who were serving as Additional Judges, have now been confirmed as Permanent Judges of the Gauhati High Court.
The Collegium has also recommended that Justice Kaushik Goswami will continue as an Additional Judge of the same court for another one-year term, starting 10 November 2025.
