This Disclaimer forms an integral part of the Court Book Terms & Conditions and applies to all users accessing or using the Court Book Platform, including the mobile application, website and all associated services.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of this Disclaimer, you should discontinue use of the Platform.
1. General Disclaimer
Court Book is an independent legal information and research platform designed to improve public access to Indian legal resources. The Platform provides legal information for educational, informational and research purposes only.
Although we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, updated and reliable, Court Book makes no representation or warranty that any information available through the Platform is complete, accurate, current, error-free or suitable for every purpose.
Your use of the Platform and reliance upon any information is entirely at your own risk.

Nothing available through Court Book constitutes legal advice, legal opinion, legal consultation, professional legal services or legal representation.
The Platform does not create any advocate-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, consultancy or professional relationship between Court Book and any user.

3. Independent Platform
Court Book is an independent private platform.
Court Book is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by or representing the Government of India, any State Government, Parliament, Legislature, Ministry, Department, Court, Tribunal, Commission, Statutory Authority or any other governmental body unless expressly stated otherwise.
Government names, court names, statutory authority names, official titles, Acts and public legal information are used solely for identification, educational, informational and reference purposes.
4. Sources of Information
Court Book aggregates, indexes, organises and presents publicly available legal information obtained from official government publications, public judicial records, publicly available legal resources and other lawful sources together with original editorial content created by Court Book.
Information available through the Platform may include:

Where any inconsistency exists, the official publication issued by the competent authority shall prevail.
5. Public Legal Documents
Bare Acts, Bills, Ordinances, Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Court Judgments and similar legal materials available through Court Book are public legal documents or are reproduced from publicly available lawful sources.
Court Book does not claim ownership of official government publications, legislation, judicial decisions or other public legal documents belonging to their respective authorities.
Court Book may improve accessibility by providing indexing, formatting, search functionality, categorisation, translations, cross-references, editorial notes and other research tools.
6. Accuracy of Information
Although reasonable care is taken while publishing information, Court Book does not guarantee that all content is free from errors, omissions, inaccuracies, delays or typographical mistakes.
Legal information may become outdated due to legislative amendments, judicial interpretation, administrative changes or publication delays.
Users are solely responsible for independently verifying all legal information before relying upon it.
7. No Professional Relationship
Use of Court Book does not create any advocate-client relationship, attorney-client relationship, legal consultancy relationship, fiduciary relationship or any other professional relationship between Court Book and any user.

8. User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness, authenticity and suitability of all information obtained through Court Book before making legal, financial, commercial or personal decisions.
No legal action, filing, contractual decision or other important decision should be based solely upon information available through the Platform without independent verification from official sources or consultation with a qualified legal professional.
9. Bare Acts, Constitution, Bills and Ordinances
Court Book provides access to Bare Acts, the Constitution of India, Parliament Bills, State Bills, Ordinances, Rules, Regulations, Notifications and other legal documents solely for informational, educational and legal research purposes.
Laws are subject to amendment, repeal, substitution, judicial interpretation and governmental notification. Although Court Book regularly updates its database, there may be delays before changes are reflected on the Platform.
Users should always verify the latest official publication issued by the competent authority before relying upon any legal document available through Court Book.
In case of any inconsistency between information available on Court Book and the official publication, the official publication shall prevail.
10. Court Judgments Disclaimer
Court Book may provide access to Supreme Court, High Court, District Court and Tribunal judgments, orders, opinions, citations, summaries and related judicial information obtained from publicly available lawful sources.
Court Book does not authenticate, certify or modify judicial decisions issued by any court or tribunal.

11. Legal Drafts Disclaimer
Court Book provides legal drafts, templates, notices, agreements, affidavits, petitions, applications, contracts and other legal document formats solely for educational, informational and drafting assistance purposes.
These documents are general templates and may not be suitable for every jurisdiction, legal issue or factual situation.
Court Book does not guarantee that any draft complies with current law, procedural requirements or court practice applicable to your specific matter.
Users should independently review, modify and verify every legal draft and seek professional legal advice before using, executing or filing any document before any court, tribunal or authority.
12. Legal News Disclaimer

13. AI Features Disclaimer
Court Book may provide Artificial Intelligence ("AI") powered search, semantic search, intelligent document discovery, legal recommendations, summaries, translations, legal draft assistance and other automated features.
AI-generated responses are automatically produced using machine learning technologies and are intended solely to assist legal research.
AI-generated information may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, incomplete legal analysis, outdated information, incorrect statutory references or incorrect judicial citations.

14. AI Hallucination and Verification Disclaimer

Although Court Book continuously improves its AI-powered services, AI-generated responses are produced automatically and may not accurately reflect current law or official legal records.
Users must independently verify every AI-generated legal citation, judgment reference, statutory provision, legal draft and recommendation through official government publications, court records or other authoritative legal sources before relying upon such information.
Court Book accepts no responsibility for any decision, action or omission taken in reliance upon AI-generated content.
15. Translation Disclaimer
Court Book provides legal information in multiple languages for user convenience and accessibility.
Translations may be generated or assisted using third-party translation services, machine translation systems, artificial intelligence technologies or automated language processing tools together with editorial review where applicable.
Translated content may include Bare Acts, the Constitution of India, Bills, Ordinances, Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Court Judgments, Legal Drafts, Legal News, Editorial Content, Legal Dictionary entries and AI-generated responses.
Machine-generated or AI-assisted translations may contain translation errors, omissions, grammatical inaccuracies, contextual differences, incorrect legal terminology or differences in interpretation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, translated content available through Court Book is not an official government translation and should not be relied upon as the authoritative legal text.
Where any inconsistency exists between translated content and the official English version or any officially published language version issued by the competent authority, the official publication shall prevail.
16. OCR and Digitisation Disclaimer
Certain legal documents, historical Acts, judgments, notifications, gazette publications or archived records available through the Platform may have been digitised using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology or similar automated processing systems.
OCR and digitisation processes may introduce typographical errors, formatting issues, incorrect numbering, missing text, incorrect characters, punctuation errors or other inaccuracies.

Court Book has no control over the availability, content, security, privacy practices or accuracy of external websites and shall not be responsible for any information, products or services available through them.
Accessing third-party websites is entirely at the user's own risk and subject to the applicable terms and privacy policies of those websites.
19. Third-Party Services Disclaimer
Court Book relies upon various third-party technologies and service providers to operate the Platform, including cloud hosting providers, authentication services, analytics services, artificial intelligence providers, machine translation services, notification services, payment gateways and other technical infrastructure providers.
Court Book does not warrant the uninterrupted availability, accuracy or reliability of services provided by third parties and shall not be liable for interruptions, delays, failures or inaccuracies resulting from such services.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their respective terms, privacy policies and legal conditions.
20. Availability of Services
Court Book strives to maintain uninterrupted access to the Platform; however, continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, software updates, hardware failures, network interruptions, cyber incidents, force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Court Book shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from temporary or permanent interruption, suspension or discontinuation of any feature or service.
21. Future Features and Beta Services
Court Book may introduce new features, AI tools, subscription services, translations, legal databases or experimental functionality from time to time.
Features identified as beta, preview, experimental or early access may contain bugs, inaccuracies or incomplete functionality and are provided on an "as available" basis without any warranty.
Court Book reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.
22. Intellectual Property
Except for official government publications, judicial records and other third-party materials reproduced in accordance with applicable law, all original content available on Court Book, including software, databases, user interface, search technology, AI integrations, graphics, logos, editorial content, compilations, classifications, indexing systems, page layouts and original written material are owned by or licensed to Court Book and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may access the Platform solely for lawful personal, educational, informational and professional purposes.
Except where expressly permitted by applicable law or with prior written permission from Court Book, users shall not copy, reproduce, redistribute, scrape, commercially exploit, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works from Court Book's original content.
23. Copyright Notice
Court Book respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.
If you believe that any content available through the Platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may notify Court Book by providing sufficient details to identify the allegedly infringing material together with reasonable supporting evidence.
Upon receipt of a valid notice, Court Book may investigate the matter and, where appropriate, remove, restrict or disable access to the relevant content without admitting liability.
24. Government Names, Emblems and Public Authorities
Court Book may display the names of government departments, ministries, constitutional authorities, courts, tribunals, commissions, statutory bodies, Acts and public institutions solely for identification, educational, informational and reference purposes.
Where official emblems, seals, insignia or symbols appear within publicly available legal documents or official publications, such appearance does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or approval of Court Book by any government authority.
Court Book does not claim ownership of any government emblem, official seal or public insignia belonging to the respective authority.
25. User-Generated Content
Where Court Book permits users to publish profiles, comments, reviews, ratings, submissions or other user-generated content, the respective user remains solely responsible for such content.
Court Book does not routinely verify, endorse or guarantee the legality, completeness, accuracy or reliability of user-generated content and shall not be responsible for any loss arising from reliance upon such information.
Court Book reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, edit, restrict, suspend or remove any user-generated content that violates applicable law, these legal policies or the rights of any person.
26. No Warranties
The Platform and all content, services, features, search results, AI-generated responses, translations and information are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Court Book expressly disclaims all warranties, representations and guarantees, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, compatibility or security.
Court Book does not warrant that the Platform will always operate without interruption, delay, error, virus, malware or other harmful components.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Court Book, its owners, employees, affiliates, licensors, contractors, technology partners, service providers and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages arising out of or relating to:
- your access to or use of the Platform;
- your inability to access or use the Platform;
- reliance upon any information available through the Platform;
- AI-generated responses or recommendations;
- machine-generated translations;
- legal drafts, judgments, legal news or legal research materials;
- errors, omissions or inaccuracies in content;
- service interruptions or technical failures;
- unauthorised access to your account or information;
- third-party services or websites.
This limitation applies irrespective of the legal theory under which liability is asserted, including contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise.
28. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Court Book, its owners, employees, affiliates, licensors, contractors, partners and service providers from and against any claims, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, costs, expenses and reasonable legal fees arising from or relating to:
- your use or misuse of the Platform;
- your violation of applicable law;
- your violation of these legal policies;
- your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person;
- content submitted or published by you; or
- your reliance upon information obtained through the Platform.
29. Force Majeure
Court Book shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or failure to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fires, epidemics, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disputes, internet outages, power failures, cyberattacks, governmental actions, judicial orders or failures of third-party service providers.
30. No Waiver
Failure by Court Book to enforce any provision of this Disclaimer shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other rights available under applicable law.
31. Severability
If any provision of this Disclaimer is held by a court or competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
32. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, the courts having competent jurisdiction at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Disclaimer, the Court Book Platform or your use of the Platform.
33. Changes to this Disclaimer
Court Book reserves the right to modify, amend or replace this Disclaimer at any time to reflect changes in applicable laws, technology, Platform functionality, business practices or legal requirements.
The revised Disclaimer shall become effective immediately upon publication unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Platform after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
34. Entire Agreement
This Disclaimer should be read together with the Court Book Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy. Together, these documents constitute the complete legal framework governing your access to and use of the Court Book Platform.
In the event of any conflict between this Disclaimer and any mandatory provision of applicable law, the applicable law shall prevail only to the extent of such conflict.
