Section 5: Agreement as to rent:
Agreement as to rent:.
- The cultivating tenant and the landlord may agree among themselves in regard to the quantum of rent payable for a holding subject to the maximum rent specified in Section 3. The rent so agreed (hereinafter referred to as "agreed rent"), whether it is in pursuance of an agreement made between the parties, before or after the commencement of this Act, shall, subject to the provisions of Section 6 be the rent payable for the holding.Disclaimer: This section is reproduced for general informational and reference purposes only.
