Section 56L: Secretary and other officers of committee

Secretary and other officers of committee.

(1)

The State Government may appoint a Secretary to the committee.

(2)

The committee may appoint such officers (other than the Secretary) and servants as it thinks necessary for the efficient performance of the duties and functions of the committee under this Act:Provided that no officer or servant who is paid or is to be paid salary of over one hundred rupees per mensum shall be appointed by a committee without the previous approval of the State Government.
