Section 81: Indemnity from suits and proceedings

Indemnity from suits and proceedings.

(1)

No suit, prosecution or other proceeding shall be instituted against the State Government or any office or authority in respect of anything done in good faith or purporting to be done under this Act.

(2)

Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), no suit, under section 50 shall, without the previous sanction of the State Government, be instituted against the Charity Commissioner in respect of a public trust of which he has been authorised to act as a trustee.
