Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement
Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)
This Act may be called the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 1985.(2)
It shall extend to the whole of Guwahati Metropolitan Area excluding any area to which the provisions of the Cantonments Act, 1924 apply.(3)
