Section 43: Power to revoke the Development Scheme
Power to revoke the Development Scheme.
(1)
Notwithstanding anything contained in Section 42, a scheme may at any time be modified or revoked by a subsequent scheme made, published and sanctioned in accordance with this Act.(2)
The State Government, at its own initiative or on the application of the Authority may at any time, by a notification in the Official Gazette, revoke a scheme, if it is satisfied that under the special circumstances of the case, the scheme shall be so revoked.Provided that where revocation or modification is ordered by the State Government after partially or wholly implemented a scheme, compensation should be paid for the necessary alternation in the manner prescribed.Previous
