Section 296: Disturbing religious assembly
Disturbing religious assembly.
- Whoever voluntarily causes disturbance to any assembly lawfully engaged in the performance of religious worship, or religious ceremonies, shall be punished [with imprisonment which shall not be less than five years but may extend to ten years and shall also liable to fine] [Substituted by Act XII of 1980, section 9, 10 and 11.].Previous
