Section 126: Continuance of certain Survey and Settlement operations
Continuance of certain Survey and Settlement operations.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Chapter or in any enactment or law repealed by section 202,-(1)
all survey or settlement operations commenced before and continuing at the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to have been commenced and to be continuing under the provisions of this Act, and(2)
all assessments fixed and settlements of land revenue heretofore made and introduced and in force on the date of the commencement of this Act, shall be deemed to have been made and introduced in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter and shall, notwithstanding anything contained in section 115, be deemed to continue to remain in force, until the introduction of a revision settlement.Disclaimer: This section is reproduced for general informational and reference purposes only.
