Section 145: Responsibility for the maintenance of boundary marks
Responsibility for the maintenance of boundary marks.
- Every land-holder shall be responsible for the maintenance and good repair of the boundary marks of his holding, and for any charges reasonably incurred on account of the same by the Revenue Officers in case of alteration, removal or disrepair. It shall be the duty of the village accountant and officers and servants of the Panchayat to prevent the destruction or unauthorised alteration of the village boundary marks.Previous
