Section 179: Certificate of purchase
Certificate of purchase.
- When a sale held under this Chapter is confirmed, the [Tahsildar] [Substituted by Act 5 of 1970 w.e.f. 23.10.1969.] shall put the person declared to be the purchaser in possession of the property and shall cause his name to be entered in the land records and shall grant him a certificate in the prescribed form to the effect that he has purchased the property specified therein and such certificate shall be deemed to be a valid transfer of such property.Disclaimer: This section is reproduced for general informational and reference purposes only.
