Chief controlling authority in revenue matters.

- The State Government shall be the chief controlling authority in all matters connected with land and land revenue administration under this Act.

Sec 4 — State to be [divided into Regions into Districts] [Substituted by Act 21 of 2003 w.e.f. 26.5.2003 by notification. Text of the notification is at the end of the Act and substituted by Act 17 of 2007 w.e.f.5.1.2007.] and Districts to consist of Taluks comprising Circles and Villages
