On the commencement of the Bombay Highways (Extension and Amendment) Act, 1965, the Central Provinces and Berar Regulation of Uses of Land Act, 1948, shall stand repealed:Provided that anything done or action taken (including any notifications or licences issued, plans deposited, or restrictions imposed, applications and rules made, permissions given, or compensation awarded) under the aforesaid Act shall, in so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act, and shall continue in force 'accordingly, unless and until superseded by anything done or any action taken under this Act.(2)
