Board for purposes of this Chapter

(1)

[The Mumbai Repairs and Reconstruction Board] [These words were substituted for the words 'The Bombay Repairs and Reconstruction Board' by Maharashtra 25 of 1996, Section 2 and Schedule Para (3).] established under section 18 of this Act shall be the Board for the purposes of carrying out the purposes of this Chapter.

Subject to the superintendence, direction and control of the Authority, the Board shall exercise such of the powers and perform such of the duties and functions conferred on it under Chapter VIII as may be necessary for the performance of its duties and functions under this Chapter.
