Section 122: Contribution of Panchayat
Contribution of Panchayat.
(1)
Every Panchayat shall have a Sarpanch, a Upa-Sarpanch and other members, not being less than 3 and more than 13, as the Board may with the approval of the Authority determined.(2)
The members of a Panchayat including the Sarpanch and Upa-Sarpanch shall be nominated by the Board from amongst the residents of the slum improvement area. The names of the members so nominated shall be published by the Board in the Official Gazette; and on the publication of the names of members in the Official Gazette, the Panchayat shall be deemed to be duly constituted.Disclaimer: This section is reproduced for general informational and reference purposes only.
