Procedure not affected by Indian Succession Act or Administrator-General’s Act or Regulation VIII of 1827 or corresponding law.

Nothing in the Indian Succession Act, 1925 or in the Administrator General’s Act, 1913, shall apply to intestate property which is dealt with by the Commissioner under sub-section (1) of section 85, nor shall the provisions of section 10 of Regulation VIII of 1827, or of any corresponding law in force likewise be deemed to apply to intestate property which is dealt with by a Magistrate under sub-section (1) of section 85.
