Section 25: Recovery of penalties due under bond
Recovery of penalties due under bond. -
When any person, in compliance with any rule made hereunder, gives a bond for the performance of any duty or act, such duty or act shall be deemed to be a public duty, or an act in which the public are interested, as the case may be, within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Section 74 : and upon breach of the condition of such bond by him, the whole sum named therein as the amount to be paid in case of such breach may be recovered from him as if it were an arrear of land revenue.Disclaimer: This section is reproduced for general informational and reference purposes only.
