The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially declared that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 will be conducted on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The announcement has brought clarity to thousands of law aspirants across the country who are aiming to secure admission into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by prestigious National Law Universities.

Alongside the exam date, the Consortium also released the application schedule. The online application portal will open on August 1, 2025, and the last date to apply is October 31, 2025. Interested candidates must complete the application process within this time frame by visiting the official website of the Consortium.

The CLAT is a national-level entrance examination used for admission to 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India and is also accepted by several other private universities and institutions.
