Rajasthan High Court Gets Four New Judges as Centre Approves Appointments

The Central Government has officially notified the appointment of four advocates as Judges of the Rajasthan High Court. This decision marks a significant step in strengthening the judicial system in the state.

The advocates appointed as Judges of the Rajasthan High Court are:

  • Anand Sharma
  • Sunil Beniwal
  • Mukesh Rajpurohit
  • Sandeep Shah

Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal shared the news through a post on X, confirming their appointment to the Rajasthan High Court.

These names were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium on March 5, 2024, along with three other names. The recommendations were made after careful evaluation of their legal acumen, experience, and contributions to the field of law.

The Supreme Court Collegium, which plays a crucial role in judicial appointments, ensures that only the most qualified and competent legal professionals are elevated to the position of High Court Judges.
