SC Collegium Proposes Elevation of Eight Judicial Officers to Allahabad High Court Bench

In a significant development, the Supreme Court Collegium, on April 2, recommended the elevation of eight judicial officers for appointment as judges of the Allahabad High Court.

According to the official resolution passed by the Collegium, the following names have been put forward for approval:

• Shri Jitendra Kumar Sinha

• Shri Abdul Shahid

“After careful consideration of the material on record, the Collegium has resolved to recommend the appointment of these officers as Judges of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad,” the resolution stated.
