Announced through an official circular dated 26 September 2025, the initiative aims to simplify what many lawyers described as a “time-consuming hunt” through old records. Now, instead of relying only on bulky archives or third-party databases, users can directly access verdicts on the official court website under the e-Services tab.

The Court has said the platform is designed for convenience and transparency. Links to Verdict Finder are live on both the homepage and the “Explore and Connect” section. The service is expected to be especially helpful for young advocates who struggle with subscription-based databases.

With this order, the registry confirmed that the Chief Justice and all judges have been informed, and both the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Advocates-on-Record Association have been asked to circulate the news widely.
