The Supreme Court of India has published the much-awaited list of candidates provisionally chosen for the post of Personal Assistant. A total of 126 names figure in the panel released by the Recruitment Cell, including candidates from different states and educational backgrounds.

The court, however, made it clear that this is not the final appointment list. Selected candidates must go through document checks, medical fitness examinations, and police verification before any official joining. The order also underlined that empanelment alone does not create an automatic right to appointment.

Interestingly, the panel will remain valid for one year from September 16, 2025, or until all listed names are exhausted, whichever comes earlier. For aspirants, this brings hope, but also a reminder—final selection still depends on clearing the next stage.
