Section 61: Unauthorised use of police uniform
Unauthorised use of police uniform.
- Whoever, not being a police officer, wears a police uniform or any dress having the appearance or bearing any of the distinctive marks of that uniform without being authorised by the State Government or as the case may be, an officer authorised by the State Government, shall be punished with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with fine or with both.Chapter-IX Police AccountabilityPrevious
