(1) this Act may be
called the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Act, 1975.
(2) It extends to the 1[whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir].
(3) This section shall come into force at once and the other provisions of this Act shall come into force on such 2date as the Government may by notification in the **[Government Gazette] appoint.
3[(4) Nothing in this Act shall affect the application of the Right of Children to Free Education Act, 2009 (35 of 2009)].
