If under the provisions of this Chapter revenue or rent has to be determined, such revenue or rent shall be determined in accordance with the following provisions, namely;
(a) the rent of a hereditary tenant shall be determined in accordance with the sanctioned rent-rates, applicable to hereditary tenants,
(b) in fixing revenue, the Court shall calculate the rent in accordance with the provisions of clause (a) and shall assess the revenue thereon in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the United Provinces Land Revenue Act, 1901,
(c) in fixing the rent of an under-proprietor, the Court shall calculate the revenue in accordance with the provisions of clause (b), and shall add thereto a percentage which shall not be less than ten or greater than fifty. [ U.P. III of 1901 ]
