(1) A thekedar who has been wrongfully ejected from the whole or any part of the theka area, or wrongfully prevented from exercising any of his rights as thekedar, by the lessor or any person claiming under, or as agent of, the lessor may sue for any or all of the following remedies, -
(a) recovery of possession;
(b) an injunction;
(c) compensation for such wrongful dispossession or unlawful interference;
(d) compensation for an improvement lawfully made by him.
(2) The provisions of sub-sections (2), (3) and (4) of Section 183 and of Section 184 to 186 shall apply to athekedar in the same way and to the same extent as they apply to a tenant.
