(1)- Member other than 1[ex officio members] shall hold office
for a term of three years from the date of the notification published
under 2[sub-section (3) of section 3.]
3[ Provided that the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, enlarge the term of office of all such members by a period not exceeding 4[six months] at a time so however, that the enlargements, so granted, shall not in the aggregate exceed 4[one year].
4A[ (2)- A member of the Board shall cease to be such member upon his ceasing to have the capacity in which he was 5[nominated] and his place shall thereupon become vacant.]
