Competent Authority etc., to be public servant.

- Every competent authority and every officer duly authorized by the Government or the competent authority as the case may be, to discharge any duty imposed on it or on him under this Act shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860).
