Section 137: Remedies for wrongful ejectment
Remedies for wrongful ejectment.
(1)
An asami ejected or apprehending ejectment from or prevented from obtaining possession of any land otherwise than in accordance with the provisions of any law for the time being in force, may sue the person so ejecting him, trying to eject him or keeping him out of possession -(i)
for possession of the [land; or] [Substituted 'land;' by U.P. ActNo. 4 of 2016
, dated 11.3.2016.](ii)
for compensation for wrongful dispossession; or(2)
