Jurisdiction of the Board.

The Board shall be the Chief Controlling Authority -(a)

subject to the superintendence, direction and control of the State Government, in all other matters provided in this Code.(2)
Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Board, shall exercise, perform and discharge powers, functions and duties conferred upon it by or under this Code or any other law for the time being in force.(3)
