Section 93: Transfer of possession for securing money shall be deemed to be a sale
Transfer of possession for securing money shall be deemed to be a sale.
- If any bhumidhar transfers possession of any holding or part thereof for the purpose of securing any money advanced by way of loan or in lieu of interest on such loan, then, notwithstanding anything contained in any law or contract or document of transfer, the transaction shall be deemed at all times and for the purposes of this Code, to be a sale to the transferee, and to every such sale, provisions of Section 89 shall apply.Previous
