Section 1: Short title

The Assam Muslim Marriages And Divorces Registration Act, 1935

Short title

(1)

This Act may be called "The Assam Muslim Marriages and Divorces Registration Act, 1935."

(2)

Commencement.It shall come into force in any part of the province on such date as the Provincial Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint in this behalf.

(3)

Extent.It extends to the whole of Assam.
