Section 174: Members of Authority or Board of Panchayat, employees of Authority or Panchayat to be public servants

Members of Authority or Board of Panchayat, employees of Authority or Panchayat to be public servants.

- All members of the Authority or any Board or any Panchayat and all employees of the Authority or Panchayat shall be deemed, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
