Section 8: Power to make rules relating to warehouses
Power to make rules relating to warehouses. -
The State Government may, from time to time, by notification in the official Gazette make rules consistent with this Act to regulate the safe custody of opium warehouses under Section 7; the levy of fees for such warehousing; the removal of such opium for sale or exportation; and the manner in which it shall be disposed of, if any duty or fees leviable on it be not paid within twelve months from the date of warehousing the same.Disclaimer: This section is reproduced for general informational and reference purposes only.
