The Central Government has officially notified the repatriation of Justice Chandra Dhari Singh from the Delhi High Court to the Allahabad High Court. This decision follows the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium.
A formal notification was issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice on Friday, confirming the transfer.
The Supreme Court Collegium, led by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna and comprising Justices BR Gavai and Surya Kant, had proposed the repatriation in November 2024. The recommendation has now been implemented.

Justice CD Singh's judicial journey began with his appointment as an Additional Judge on September 22, 2017. Later, on September 6, 2019, he took oath as a Permanent Judge of the Allahabad High Court.
In a significant career move, he was transferred to the Delhi High Court on October 11, 2021. His return to the Allahabad High Court marks another shift in his judicial responsibilities.
