The Kerala High Court has issued an order directing the mutual transfer of two judicial officers in Kollam district.
According to the notification, Sri Udayakumar V., Judge of the Family Court, Chavara, and Smt. Prasanna Gopan, Presiding Officer of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kollam, will exchange posts with immediate effect.
The order further specifies that Sri Udayakumar will hand over charge of his court to the Family Court Judge, Kollam, while Smt. Prasanna Gopan will assume charge after formally handing over duties to him. The Registrar (District Judiciary), Nixon M. Joseph, issued the proceedings citing "administrative exigencies."
