The President of India has officially confirmed Justice Biswajit Palit, who had been serving as an Additional Judge of the Tripura High Court, as a permanent Judge of the same court.
The notification, issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice, stated that the appointment will take effect from the day he assumes charge of office. Copies of the order have been sent to the Governor, Chief Minister, Chief Justice, and other senior officials in Tripura.
With this, the process of elevating Justice Palit to a full judgeship stands completed.
