The Supreme Court of India has issued an official notice informing about changes in the bench schedule for Monday, September 1, 2025. The changes come as Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal will not be holding the court on that day.
The notification, issued on August 30, 2025, provides a detailed outline of how cases listed before Justice Bindal’s benches will be reassigned.
According to the notice:
“The matters shown in Chief Justice’s Court before the Bench comprising Hon’ble the Chief Justice, Hon’ble Mr. Justice K. Vinod Chandran and Hon’ble Mr. Justice N.V. Anjaria in the Final Cause List for 01.09.2025 (Monday) will now be taken up for hearing by the Bench comprising Hon’ble the Chief Justice and Hon’ble Mr. Justice K. Vinod Chandran, except part-heard and Three Judges Bench matters, if any.”
This means that the Chief Justice’s bench will function as a two-judge bench on September 1, 2025, instead of the originally scheduled three-judge bench.
