Section 70: Recovery of dues

Santhal Parganas Tenancy (Supplementary Provisions) Act, 1949

Recovery of dues.

(1)

All costs, interest, damages and compensation awarded under this Act, shall be recoverable unless otherwise provided in this Act in the manner provided for the recovery of money due under a decree.

(2)

All fines and penalties imposed under this Act shall be recoverable in the manner prescribed by any law for the time being in force for recovery of a public demand.
