Power to make rules.

(1)

The [State] [Substituted by para 4 (1) of the ALO for 'Provincial'] Government may, by notification, make rules for carrying out the objects of this Act.

(2)

In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, the [State] [Substituted by para 4 (1) of the ALO for 'Provincial'] Government may make rules with respect to all or any of the following matters,-

(i)

the manner of ascertaining the consent of resident jamabandi raiyat under Section 5;

(ii)

the manner in which a village headman shall discharge his duties;

(iii)

the manner in which copies of jamabandi will be certified under Section 8;

(iv)

the manner in which the headman's reward fund shall be managed under Section 11;

(v)

the forms to be used under this Act

(vi)

. the manner of reporting a transfer of raiyat land under proviso (a) to sub-section (1) of Section 21;

(vii)

the amount of the process fee payable to the registering officer under sub-section (1) of Section 35 and the manner of serving a notice on foe landlord under sub-Section (2) of Section 25;

(viii)

foe manner of the service of a notice under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 32;

(ix)

foe manner of the publication of foe general notice referred to in sub-section (2) of Section 44;

(x)

foe procedure to be followed by foe Deputy Commissioner in proceeding under Section 50;

(xi)

foe conditions of acquisition of land and the manner of giving possession of such land under Section 53;

(xii)

, foe procedure to be followed by courts in dealing with application and other proceedings under this Act; and

(xiii)

any other matter by this Act required, expressly or impliedly to be prescribed.
