1[118. Procedure
of Code of
Criminal
Procedure
relating to
cognizable
offences to
apply.-In the absence of any provision to the contrary in this Act, the provisions
of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898(V of
1898)2 with respect to cognizable offences shall
apply to offences under this Act.
