(1) The State Government
may appoint an officer in the rank of Inspector General of the Police to be the
in-charge of the Railway Areas.
(2) The power of control, supervision and direction of the Police Force in the Railway Areas shall, subject to the overall control of the Director General of Police, vest in the Inspector General of Police, in-charge of the Railway Areas.
(3) The State Government may appoint an officer in the rank of Superintendent of Police to be the in-charge of the Police District of Railway Areas, and power of control, supervision and direction shall, subject to the overall control of the Director General of Police, vest in the officer so appointed
(2) The power of control, supervision and direction of the Police Force in the Railway Areas shall, subject to the overall control of the Director General of Police, vest in the Inspector General of Police, in-charge of the Railway Areas.
(3) The State Government may appoint an officer in the rank of Superintendent of Police to be the in-charge of the Police District of Railway Areas, and power of control, supervision and direction shall, subject to the overall control of the Director General of Police, vest in the officer so appointed
