(1) Every notice under
section 24 shall be in writing, and shall specify the amount of the arrear claimed, the period for which,
and the holding in respect of which, it is claimed, and, when an amount in excess of the rent payable by
the tenant in the last preceding agricultural year is claimed, the decree, order or agreement, as the case
may be, for the payment of that amount.
(2) The notice shall be served on the person in charge of the produce, and shall, subject to the provisions of section 25, remain in force until the expiration of thirty-five days from the date of service of the notice, or, if the rent specified in the notice is paid previously to the expiration of such thirty-five days, until such rent is paid.
