Section 54

Tenant Changing Land in Other Cases.

The Central Provinces Tenancy Act, 1898
If a tenant having a right of occupancy in any land ceases to hold that land, and thereupon commence to hold other land of the same landlord under circumstances from which it may be inferred that the tenant has accepted that other land in lieu of, and on the same conditions as, the land which he has ceased to hold, he shall, in the absence of a written agreement to the contrary, be deemed to have a right of occupancy in the land which he so commences to hold.
