Chairman of Committee

-(1) The Chairperson of the Municipality, if a member of any committee, shall be ex-officio Chairman thereof. (2) The Vice-Chairperson of the Municipality, if appointed as a member of any committee of which the Chairperson is not a member, shall be ex-officio Chairman thereof. (3) The Municipality may appoint a member, as Chairman of any committee of which there is no ex-officio Chairman. (4) Every committee, of which there is an ex-officio Chairman or a Chairman appointed by the Municipality, shall, at each meeting which such Chairman does not attend, appoint from amongst its members a Chairman of such meeting. (5) Every committee, of which there is no ex-officio Chairman or Chairman appointed by the Municipality, shall appoint from time to time its own Chairman from amongst its own members.
