(1) The ordinary meetings of a
committee of a Municipality shall be conducted within two months
in accordance with such procedure as may be prescribed.
(2) If the Chairman of any committee has been absent from
the Municipality for a period exceeding fifteen days, the
Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson of the Municipality may, in his
absence, call a meeting thereof.
(3) Committees may meet and adjourn as they think proper
but the Chairman of a committee may, whenever he thinks fit, and
shall, upon the written request of the Chairperson of the
Municipality or of not less than two members of the committee,
and for a date not more than two days after the presentation of such
request, call a special meeting of such committee.
(4) No business shall be transacted at any meeting of the
committee unless one-half of the members of the committee be
present thereat.
