1[67C. Penalty for possessing etc., denatured spirituous preparations in contravention of provisions of sections 59C and 59D.- Whoever,-
(a) in contravention of the provisions of section 59C, possesses, without permit, any denatured spirituous preparation in excess of the quantity prescribed under that section, or
(b) in contravention of the provisions of section 59D, manufacturers, sells, bottels for sale or imports, exports or transports, any denatured spirituous preparation, or
(c) drinks any denatured spirituous preparation, 8[shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than three years but which may extend to five years or with fine which shall not be less than twenty-five thousand rupees but which may extend to fifty thousand rupees or with both.]
