(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, delegate to any officer subordinate to it all or any powers conferred on it by or under this Act, other than the power to make rules.
(2) The Authority may, by a resolution, delegate any of its powers and functions exercisable by it under this Act or regulations thereunder, except the power to prepare any Master Development Plan, Zonal Development Plan or make regulations, to any officer of the Government, any local authority or other authority or body functioning in Ajmer Region or the executive Committee, or any functional Board or Ajmer Development Commissioner or any officer subordinate to it, subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be specified in the resolution:
Provided that the delegation of powers and functions under this sub-section to any officer of the Government, local authority or other authority or body shall be made with the consent of the State Government or local authority or other authority or body, as the case may be.
