Every member shall be provided with an employee, drawing pay in a Grade Pay not exceeding the Grade Pay No. 9 as specified in the Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008, by the revenue department of the State Government as secretarial assistance or, at the option of the member, a lump sum amount of thirty thousand rupees per mensem shall be paid to the member in lieu of the secretarial assistance.
