Appointment of Officers and Staff.

In addition to the Member Secretary of the authority, the Government may appoint such officers and staff to assist the authority in preparation and implementation of Heritage Conservation Plans as it deem fit. The Directors concerned shall prepare proposals on the subjects concerning them for listing, grading, conservation and preservation of heritage etc. for the consideration and approval of the authority. For this purpose, the authority may constitute one or more committees as provided for in this Act and the Director concerned shall be the Convener of the said Committee. The Director concerned shall invariably submit all papers/proposals so prepared by him or the Committee to the Heritage Conservation and Preservation Authority through the Executive Committee.
